One of the largest crypto exchange platforms in the United States of America, Coinbase, has announced an extended list of tokens that can be potentially listed in the exchange platform in the second quarter of this year and this additional effort is being made in order to increase transparency.
In a blog post published by the platform on April 12, the exchange has included a number of tokens under the consideration process, but there are chances that other tokens are also under consideration but have not been mentioned in the blog post. Among the specifically mentioned tokens, there are 45 ERC-20 tokens on the Ethereum (ETH) network and the other five SPL tokens based on Solana (SOL) network.
Among the tokens that have been mentioned in the list include Binance USD (BUSD), which is also the third-largest stablecoin available in the market. In addition to the stablecoin, the name of one of the largest DAO projects, BitDAO (BIT), available in the market, has also been made available.
According to the exchange, this new approach toward the cryptocurrency and blockchain-based tokens will bring out information symmetry, promote efficiency and bring fairness to a market. With the help of this strategy, pump and dump scenarios will also get reduced.
