Franklin Templeton hiring for Bitcoin trading and crypto research
Franklin Templeton, one of the largest independent asset managers globally, has become the latest to join a band of other business leaders in seeking new hires in its cryptocurrency domain.
The American asset managing firm announced on September 1 through LinkedIn that it is seeking fresh job applications to work as crypto professionals – two medium or senior-level experts in cryptocurrency trading and two for analysis and research.
The job posting mentions that the agency is looking for professionals for joining them into the “largest, most liquid and tradable cryptocurrency assets,” including Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH).
According to the hiring details of Franklin Templeton, the crypto research analyst will work to create and maintain valuation models, coordinate with portfolio managers and senior executives to update them of potential business opportunities, technologies and regulations in the sector. The analyst will be responsible for assisting Franklin Templeton to expand through new products in the cryptocurrency industry.
In the crypto trading position, Franklin Templeton requires a professional who can assist the execution of all its crypto trading. Additionally, the joiner would also be looking after the timely execution of portfolio rebalance and supporting work processes related to settlements and reconciliation.
Templeton also posted that the quantitative trader should bring a “process automation mindset” among its workers and cooperate with developers in constructing tools to integrate new products for the platform’s growth.
Holding over $1.4 trillion under asset management, Franklin Templeton has recently started making a foray into cryptocurrencies, coordinating efforts to adopt the blockchain and cryptocurrency within its operation.
Back in 2019, Templeton had led a Proof of Impact funding round, which is a blockchain-powered marketplace for social and natural capital.
