Luffy: A community-driven token ecosystem solely built for Manga artists as well as Anime and Manga collectors
Anime is a rapidly growing industry, and the market capitalization of this industry is now believed to be in billions of dollars. But the problem is that the artists who are the actual backbone of this entire industry are brawling to make ends meet. The working conditions of these artists in the manga and anime industry is extremely poor, leading the artists to encounter mental, physical and financial problems. Many artists quit after some time, and many of them have succumbed to depression.
Currently, within the industry, the artists are either freelancers or entry-level artists who draw graphics with finer details as directed by the top-level directors who are responsible for the storyboards. According to the estimation, these drawing artists make more or less 2 dollars per drawing and at most 200 dollars per month which is extremely insufficient. The artists can make 2 to 3 drawing commissions per day because the jobs need to be done with extreme efficiency.
But all of this is changing because of NFTs or non-fungible tokens. With this new technology came the concept of Luffy INU, with which artists can directly reap the benefits of their work. With this new marketplace, talented artists can sell and auction their works and earn their livelihood. The NFT will allow the buyer of the art form to verify the reliability and source of the work, and the profit will be directly attributed to the artist’s account.
Luffy is a community-driven platform that is based upon the Ethereum blockchain ecosystem. It is part of a greater metaverse that includes interactive games, NFT marketplace and decentralized exchange platform.
