On November 29, Sandbox Metaverse Alpha will be launched after going through four year development process
After the announcement from The Sandbox, the prices of SAND has increased at all time high. Sandbox will release its highly anticipated play to earn metaverse event. Using a multi-week play to earn alpha event, Animoca Brands’ gaming firm and virtual property The Sandbox are releasing a partial part of its metaverse project to the players. But only a selected few players will get to experience the multiverse event.
The virtual gaming world of the Sandbox enables players to monetize their time spent on the metaverse using a play to earn model. Sandbox tokens, also known as SAND, can be found and gathered by completing different quests, purchasing lands and creating non-fungible tokens. The tokens can also be staked.
According to the declaration made by the company, the event will begin on November 29 at 1 pm UTC, and it will run till December 20. A total of 5000 players will have the chance to earn 1000 SAND tokens (worth 3500 dollars according to the current price). They also have the chance to earn 3 NFTs through experiencing 18 environments developed by The Sandbox studio.
