Shiba Inu now an accepted payment option at a French bistro
A restaurant in the French capital of Paris, Le Bistrot d’Eleonore et Maxence, is the latest to join the increasing list of mainstream businesses who are adding Shiba Inu (SHIB) as a payment method.
The information was shared by a local resident and crypto investor Natheno Davy, where Davy displayed that the restaurant’s main entrance was sporting two new stickers, “Shiba Inu accepted here,” right above the other traditional payment options.
Davy, speaking with Cointelegraph, said that he had approached a staff member of the bistro to reconfirm the addition of SHIB among other payment options before he had started filming a video, and right then, a group of four men made payment for their lunch order Shiba Inu. “It was magic!” said Davy, who quickly videotaped the whole episode.
The local crypto investor later revisited the restaurant with his group of friends and paid for a EUR 250 (about $290) buffet with SHIB. As the video began going viral all over social media, the restaurant confirmed a sudden spike in visits, “thanking” Davy for “his work.”
The restaurant has now become the best ib the locality as locals are pouring in great numbers, leading a wave of cafes and bars across the city to start including cryptocurrencies as a payment method.
Davy being a seasoned investor, shared that Shiba Inu has been the best investment he made across his career. He said that he is in “love with cryptocurrency, especially SHIB,” and believes that “crypto has the power to change everything.”
Shiba Inu’s mainstream adoption is fueled by an ongoing bull run that continues to garner huge support from new investors. While this piece was benign written, SHIB had surpassed Dogecoin (DOGE) in becoming the ninth largest token in terms of market capitalization.
As per reports, a part-time crypto investor has recently realized 94,278,239.8 per cent in profit from a $3,400 investment in Shiba Inu.
According to Cointelegraph, an anonymous person bought SHIB 44 times since August 2020 and has notedly accumulated 70,200,003,107,594 SHIB in the process, which amounts to $5.63 billion.
The SHIB bull run has is now having a negative impact on the price of Dogecoin.
