UFC fighters will receive bonuses on Bitcoin in the upcoming PPV events

Thanks to UFC’s partnership with the renowned crypto firm Crypto.com the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fighters will receive their fan bonuses in Bitcoin (BTC). UFC’s official cryptocurrency platform partner, Crypto.com, will pay the fan bonuses to the top three fighters of the PPV (pay-per-view) event.

The range of the Bitcoin bonuses will be from US 10000 dollars to US 30000 dollars, and only three of those bitcoin bonuses will be given out to the top three players. The fans of this sport from all over the world can vote for the Bitcoin bonus of the night on the official website of Crypto.com on the day of the event.

The very first Bitcoin fan bonus will be launched on Saturday during the upcoming UFC 273: Volkanovski vs. The Korean Zombie PPV event. The Bitcoin fan bonus will be an extra addition to the UFC traditional fight nights and performance bonuses that will be awarded to the UFC athletes. The president of UFC, Dana White, has expressed his excitement about the new Fan Bonus of the Night event by stating that with Bitcoin Fan Bonus of the Night UFC will gain numerous fans from all over the world while the athletes will be rewarded for their bad-ass performances.

The crypto industry and sports industry have shown us massive synergies during the past couple of years. As a global sporting trademark, UFC was among the first to integrate themselves with the crypto firms and even bagged a sponsorship deal of US 175 million dollars with crypto.com in July last year.

Just like United States National Football League stars, the UFC fighters have also opted for cryptocurrency and Bitcoin (BTC) when it comes to paychecks over fiat currencies.
