The major music recording company, the Recording Academy, which is famous for its annual music award, also known as the Grammy or Grammy awards, has made a partnership with Binance, one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency and blockchain platforms in terms of trading volumes.
As per the joint announcement made on Thursday, the cryptocurrency exchange platform came to be the first-ever official crypto exchange partner of the 64th Annual Grammy Awards and Grammy Week events that will bring out multiple web3 technology experiences and solutions to the event.
This year’s Grammy will be organized on April 3 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, and this announcement was made a few days before the beginning of the event. Panos Panay, the co-president of the Recording Academy, has specifically said that the agreement is focused on developing new monetary revenues for the music industry, Recording academy and bringing out new experiences for the music fans.
Panay added emphatically that Binance is the perfect partner for the Grammy’s because of its community-driven approach in the blockchain and cryptocurrency industry, which in his language perfectly parallels their vision of empowering the people all around the world with music.
